What your first appointment will look like
At your first appointment, we take x-rays, check the health of your gums and review your medical history with you. Dr. D’Orazio or Dr. Pinnix will perform a free oral cancer screening and then make sure your mouth is healthy and free of dental disease.
We normally clean your teeth at this appointment and review how to improve your oral hygiene at home. However, sometimes patients need more advanced care and a second appointment is necessary to complete the cleaning and/or review issues and talk about options to find solutions.
