Dr. D’Orazio
Dr. D’Orazio (“Dr. D”) attended East Carolina University where she majored in Neuroscience and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. D then completed her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Since she is a true ECU pirate at heart, she returned to ECU to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency where she graduated with distinction. This residency gave her extensive training in all aspects of dentistry, including extractions, dental implants, root canals, Invisalign, and gum surgery. She believes that lifetime learning is critical in the ever-changing dental profession and invests considerable time in continuing her skills and education. She is on track to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction only about 6% of dentists achieve. Dr. D is also a member of Spear Education, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and NC Dental Society.
Dr. D’Orazio and her husband, Jared, a Raleigh native and NC State graduate, are proud parents to their son, James. Depending on the season, you can either find her cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes or enjoying the beautiful North Carolina beaches.
Dr. Pinnix
Dr. Pinnix was born and raised in the small town of Hiddenite in the foothills of North Carolina. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS). Prior to finding her home in the Triangle, she attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry..
As a dentist, Dr. Pinnix enjoys all aspects of dentistry and prides herself on giving patients the quality care they deserve. She enjoys staying up to date on the latest developments in the field. She loves being able to educate patients on the importance of their oral health and giving them a smile they can be proud to show off. Dr. Pinnix places a focus on continuing education to give her patients the best possible care. She has completed invisalign certification, the implant pathway continuum, and AAFE certification in botulinum toxin for TMJ and orofacial pain. She stays up to date with specialists in the community in her monthly Spear study club and is currently a member of the AGD, NCDS, AAFE, and Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband Tyler, family and friends, and her sweet fur-baby, a bernedoodle named Oliver. Dr. Pinnix also enjoys traveling, experiencing new places and adventures, working out, and running or biking local greenways.
Dr. Rumley
Dr. Seth Rumley, originally from Washington, N.C., is a double Tarheel, from which he obtained both his bachelor’s and dental degrees. He lives close to the office with his wife, Parker, a Raleigh native, and their four children, Walker, Bryce, and twin girls, Stewart and Hanes. Dr. Rumley is a member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church and often found volunteering in the nursery. He is a member and former board member of the Raleigh/Wake County Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Rumley has been practicing dentistry in Raleigh for the past 14 years.

Angela | Dental Hygienist
Angela has been a part of the Glenwood Village Dental team since 2007. She is an East Carolina University Alumni and loves spending time with her husband, Jason, and two sweet boys, Cooper and Luke. As a dental hygienist, Angela knows that patient education and taking the time to get to know each patient are key to helping them keep a healthy mouth.
Samantha | Dental Hygienist
Samantha was born and raised in the small town of Erwin, NC. She graduated from Central Carolina Community College in 2019 with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. Samantha enjoys building relationships with her patients and educating them on their oral health and how it is linked to their overall systemic health. Outside of dental hygiene, Samantha loves cooking big meals and spending time outdoors in nature.
Suzanne | Dental Assistant
Suzanne is a native of Raleigh, born and raised right here in the Five Points area. Suzanne completed her dental assistant program at Sunrise School of Dental Assisting, and joined our team in 2014. As your liaison to dental treatment, Suzanne assists in explaining and caring for patients in a friendly and compassionate manner. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, going to the beach, and organizing.
Barbi | Office Staff
Barbi has been a part of the Glenwood Village Dental team since 2004. She is married with two boys and is an Oma (German for Grandmother) to her three beautiful grandsons. When she is not at our front desk greeting our lovely patients, she can be found traveling to the beach or mountains with her husband. She loves being a part of the Glenwood Village Team because she knows we have the best. We are lucky to have Barbi on our team!
